There are over 100 chalets on the Towans above the beach at Gwithian that have been there for generations. Some are in full time occupancy. Others vary between private holiday homes, family run holiday lets and increasingly up market and luxury holiday lets run by agencies. Many of the traditional "shacks" have been replaced by modern designer chalets and prices and accomodation vary considerably.
